What to expect during your next Amber Spa Visit
Dear Amber Spa Patrons,
As we plan for our reopening, we do so with no higher priority than the well-being and safety of our guests, team members and community. To this end, we ask that you please review important information posted here regarding new policies and procedures in various areas of our operation including things that we are asking you to do in order to help maintain a safe environment.
This being said, we want to point out that no one should ever forget that this is your getaway, and that we are here to serve you. As service professionals, it is our job not only to deliver a safe and responsible environment but to also provide you with a relaxing and enjoyable experience. At times, this can be a difficult balance to maintain, but it is what we do with creativity and diligent effort. Please know that we look forward to welcoming you back to our spa and will be working tirelessly to deliver the best experience you have come to expect from us over the years.

What to expect during your next Amber Spa Visit
- Virtual check in: call us upon arrival and we will let you know when we are ready for you.
- Meet us at the front door where a receptionist will take your temperature, ask a few questions as per CDC recommended guidelines. and take you to your service area.
- If your temperature is outside of the recommended guidelines, we kindly require that you reschedule your appointment for another time.
- Contactless greetings: we love you, but please no hugs or handshakes (for now).
- To adhere to CDC and social distancing we allow guests only, please no extra family or friends to accompany you to your appointment.
- Masks are required for all guests- unless you have medical condition that prevents you from wearing one.
- Access only: no walk ins (for now) and guests picking up retail must call first
- Sanitize upon arrival: we will provide hand sanitizer stations throughout the salon and spa.
- Appointments and retail can be prepaid
- Contactless payment option – No receipts will be signed/exchanged unless requested
- Personal check out and rebooking option while seated
Our Spa and Salon Setup
- Service stations will be spaced apart to maintain distance.
- We will be limiting the use of our locker room and ask guests to change directly in their treatment room
- Limited access to retail area: we will be happy to help you with your product selection.
- We have updated our HVAC systems – each service area and service room is separately vented to outside, we also utilize air ionizers .
- We will offer outdoor patio seating for select services – request needs to be made while booking appointment and will be weather permitting.
- Strict sanitation measures will be carried out throughout the day
- CDC approved Plexiglas dividers where added where possible to ensure the safety of everyone
- Disposable towels and capes will be used
- All linens are laundered at the highest water temperature in between every single client.
- All work surfaces will be sanitized with CDC approved medical grade disinfectant between every client.
- We are obsessed with cleanliness -high touch areas (bathrooms, doorknobs, etc) will be sanitized frequently throughout the day
- We will not be providing beverages or magazines.
- Accessible hand sanitizer will be readily available for guests and employees.
Our Team
- All of our employees with wear masks while working with clients.
- Each team member will be required to have a temperature check prior to their shift.
- Each team member will be required to sanitize their hands and work areas in between every client.
- Tools and products will not be shared between service providers and will be disinfected between uses
- Barbicide sanitation and disinfection certification: -every employee will have completed additional training and received this certification.
